원천기술 개발 및 실용화, 중소·중견기업의 기술 지원 및 성과확산 등을 통해 국가 산업발전을 이끌고 있습니다. 

한국생산기술연구원은 중소·중견기업과 국내 제조업 발전을 위해 꼭 필요한 뿌리산업기술, 청정생산시스템기술, 

융·복합생산기술을 3대 중점 연구 영역으로 선정하고, 수요 지향적 R&D 및 실용화, 미래 원천기술 확보를 통해 

우리 산업의 체력을 강화하고 있습니다. 

KITECH was founded in 1989 with the objective to support industry sector, especially SMEs. KITECH drives 

the nation's industrial advancement by developing and commercializing fundamental technologies, technology 

support and disseminating the achievements of SMEs. KITECH has been reinforcing the strength of the country's 

indutries by selecting fundamental advanced manufacturing & materials technology, clean manufacturing system, 

convergence technology imperatively necessary for the advancement of SMEs, medium-sized firms and the 

manufacturing sector as the three major fields of research, and through demand-oriented R&D and 

commercialization and securing of future source technologies.

○ 금속3D프린팅 제조 국방 단종부품 - 노후화된 군 무기체계를 운영하기 위하여 단종 되거나 기존 제작 기술로 

제작하기 어려움 정비요구 부품에 대한 3D프린팅 제조기술을 활용한 다품종 소량 부품 대응

○ 최적 위장무늬 생성을 위한 자연환경 DB 및 이를 이용한 위장무늬 원단 - 작전 환경 최적 위장무늬 생성 기술은 

국군의 다양하고 복잡해지는 작전 임무에 적합하도록 위장무늬를 빠르고 효율적으로 생성 하는 기술
