국방부장관상을 수상했고 최근에는 탄약 수출뿐만 아니라 탄약생산 플랜트를 수출할 정도로 세계적으로 

그 기술력을 인정받고 있다. 풍산은 미래 최첨단 탄약 개발을 위해 기술연구원을 설립하고 미래형 첨단탄약 

연구개발에 박차를 가하고 있다.

풍산은 탄약의 기본소재인 동 및 동합금 제품 생산기술을 바탕으로 방위산업에 참여하여 안강사업장과 부산사업장에 

탄종별 전용 생산라인을 갖추고서 5.56미리 소구경 탄약에서부터 8인치 곡사포탄에 이르기까지 군이 사용하는 모든 

종류의 탄약을 개발해 공급하고 있습니다. 

풍산은 대공포탄, 박격포탄, 곡사포탄, 전차포탄, 함포탄 등 다양한 종류와 구경의 탄약을 생산하고 있습니다.
특히 최근에는 관통력을 향상시킨 대전차 탄약과 사거리를 획기적으로 연장시킨 사거리 연장탄, 한국형 구축함에 

사용하고있는 Goal Keeper탄, 전차와 다수의 병력을 동시에 제압할 수 있는 이중목적탄약 등 신형탄약의 개발과 

표준형 탄약의 성능개량에서도 큰 성과를 거두고 있습니다.

Since it was first granted a government permit to produce munitions in the early 1970s, Poongsan has helped move 

Korea ever closer to its goal of self-sufficiency in national defense ? and today most of the company's ammunition 

products are used by the Korean military.
