옵토레인은 Digital PCR 및 Real Time PCR을 하나의 플랫폼(LOAA Analyzer)에서 구현할 수 있는 분자진단 

솔루션을 개발하는 회사입니다. 자체 개발한 CMOS Photo sensor에서 PCR 반응과 형광검출 동시에 수행되도록 

설계하여 컴팩트하고 초정밀한 분자진단 수행될 수 있는 초정밀 체외진단의료기기를 개발하였습니다. 

옵토레인은 이러한 CMOS 센서 기반 반도체 기술을 이용하여 종양유전자 검출, 바이러스 정량, 유전형 진단 등의 

정밀 체외 진단 시장에 적용하여 사용자가 빠르고 간단한 과정을 통해 디지털 PCR 및 Multi test등의 분자 진단을 

수행할 수 있도록 다양한 서비스를 제공합니다. 

OPTOLANE is a semiconductor integrated In-Vitro diagnostic platform company that develops Point of care molecular 

diagnostics (POC-MDx). The company is specialized in “Digital Real-Time PCR” system which works both Real-Time 

PCR and Digital PCR. The only PCR analyzer performs absolute quantification and real time amplification curve 

simultaneously. Its turnaround time is just an hour whereas other Digital PCRs require at least four hours. 

The key tech concept is the integration of optical system and thermal control system. 

PCR reaction and fluorescent detection are completed simultaneously on the CMOS sensor. 

PCR reader system does not have to be huge and heavy because all the optical and thermal functions are 

embedded on the semiconductor chip.

디지털 PCR을 이용한 옵토레인의 코로나 진단키트는 두종류로서 첫째 침을 직접 증폭 주형으로 사용하여 번거로운 

추출과정 없이 바로 유전자 증폭을 통해서 코로나바이러스 유무를 확인하는 키트(Dr. PCR DiS20K SARS-CoV-2 Detection kit)가 

있으며 두번째 환자의 비인두도말을 또한 핵산추출과정 없이 신속하게 코로나바이러스 감염여부를 확인할 수 있는 

키트(Direct Dr. PCR SARS-CoV-2 Detection kit)가 있습니다. 

두종류의 키트 모두 핵산추출과정이 필요하지 않아서 1시간정도의 추출시간을 절약할 수 있어서 빠른 결과를 제공할 수 있으며 

일반적으로 디지털 PCR은 일반 리얼타임 PCR 대비 높은 민감도를 보유하는 장점을 가졌습니다. 

Optolane has developed two different type of Digital PCR Corona diagnostic kit. The first one, 

Dr. PCR DiS20K SARS-CoV-2 Detection kit, without any need of RNA extraction process, 

can instantly check the coronavirus of the patient by simple gene amplification of the spit sample. 

The other one, Direct Dr. PCR SARS-CoV-2 Detection kit, can quickly detect the coronavirus infection 

without nucleic acid extraction process. 

Digital PCR, due to its high sensitivity compared to real-time PCR, 

does not require any additional nucleic acid extraction process, 

and can easily deliver the test result within an hour. In addition, 

it is quite portable and have user-friendly design which makes 

it compatible to use at any space and location.
